Meet the Doctors
Richard Corales, M.D.
Dr. Corales attended Tulane University for his undergraduate degree and obtained his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He completed his surgical internship and neurosurgical residency training at the Medical College of Virginia in 1981.
Justin Lundgren, M.D.
Dr. Lundgren is a physician specializing in the care of spine pain and musculoskeletal disorders. After graduating from LSU Medical School in 1999, he completed his residency at the University California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) doctor.
Lucien Miranne, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Miranne was born and raised in the New Orleans area. He attended high school and received his high school degree at Ecole Classique in New Orleans. He then received his Bachelor of Science degree at LSU in Baton Rouge.
Everett G. Robert, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Robert is a native New Orleanian and has joined Southern Brain & Spine to practice neurosurgery in the Greater New Orleans area. He received his undergraduate degree from Tulane University and obtained his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans.
Najeeb Thomas, M.D.
Dr. Thomas is a native of Louisiana and practices in his home city of New Orleans. He completed a residency in neurosurgery at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He trained at the world famous Charity Hospital in New Orleans.
Rand Voorhies, M.D.
Dr. Voorhies received his medical degree from Tulane University, and before graduation was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society for academic excellence. He completed his neurosurgical residency at The New York Hospital – Cornell Medical Center, and stayed in New York an additional year for a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan - Kettering Cancer Center.
